Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the general state of uncertainty surrounding gatherings of individuals and the resulting risk of infection, we have had to put plans for the May 4th conference on hold.
Recent CDC guidelines have suggested putting large-scale gatherings of 50 or more individuals on hold for a period of 60 days. That would place our original conference date toward the tail end, but still within the blackout period.
For the good of our community, we are halting plans for the conference. We will revisit the idea of holding it later in the year when whe have a couple more months of understanding about the outbreak. Hopefully we will resume planning in a few months.
In the meantime, if you have submitted proposals for talks, we will hang on to them, and contact you if and when we resume planning to see if you are still interested in participating.
If you have already purchased a ticket, please contact us at [email protected] to request a refund. Otherwise, we’ll keep your registration on record for the revised conference date.
We will continue to relay new information as it becomes available.
Thank you, and be well.
