The main flow of the workshop is as follows:
- Basics of DevOps
- Basics of systems thinking and design thinking
- Economic view of a pit stop
- * Video 1
- Evolution of Formula 1 pit stops
- * Video 2
- Application of Lean Startup
- Discussion on similarities between Formula 1 modern pit stop and current day DevOps
- * Bonus Video number 3 if time allows
Learning Objectives:
Audio and WiFi : the 2 or 3 videos from YouTube are each about one to two minutes long – having good audio as well as Wi-Fi will be very important.
This will be quite Interactive, with me providing set-up info, and then people working at their table [ideal format= group of 5 to 7 people] for portions of the session and also sharing information out to the larger group at a couple of checkpoints. I am still working on the more detailed supporting charts and guide materials for the session.
